I am running Veritas 9 Exec and have been having some issues with jobs failing. I have been working through all the Failures and I tried a Test Run and it was successful, so I decided to Run Now. It has been stuck as Queued for the past 2 hours. I am afraid that this is going to have a Time Out Error. Any suggestions as to what I could be doing wrong. I am a NEWBIE, so plese be gentle. :)

Thanks in Advance

Are there any alert in alerts tab or history to insert media? check app log for BE events

No, No Alerts and it is not requiring a new disk. Also, I just purchased new disks. What I working on are my daily backups and I am backing them up to a Rev disk. I hope that I am explaining this correctly.
Thanks again
Brenda

Did you label the tapes correctly in the Media section?
Is the tape drive attached to the same machine as Veritas?

The jobs need to be assigned to a tape device. The tape device needs a pool of tapes to choose from. After putting the tape in, start an inventory of the tape, then make sure the tape is located in the correct pool that the tape device will write to.
