Hey guys,

I'd like to setup for example apache fails or something like this or the site is "unavailable" or the IP address has been banned it would automatically redirect the customer to some-other-site.com ?

For example, if the server is unreachable or something is up with it it would redirect the site request (httpd) to another server.

We use centralized DNS...

Any ideas? Thanks!

If the server is unavailable it would not be able to redirect. It's not like an HTTP Error Page that you could redirect to a nicer looking page.

There would have to be a DNS change to redirect your traffic to another IP. Or a Network load balancer (HW or SW) that points to two or more web server hosting the same site.

As far as your IP getting banned? What are you trying to do? Set up a spam phishing site?
