I have a client who uses AOL to connect to the web. We recently set up a domain with email for them.
One of the people uses AOL to connect to the web. Rather than switching her to something else, is it at all possible to do one of the following:
1) Get the AOL email client to get & send email from an independent pop & smtp server?
2) connect to the web using AOL and use another email client to send/receive email from an independent pop & smtp server?
Or 3) is AOL simply useless as an ISP and I have no chance in hell of getting AOL to play nice with anyone outside of their system?
Any help / information would be greatly appreciated!
