Has any of you used (or played with) SharpDevelop for VB.NET or C#?

I found this today and was wondering if it was any good. For the cost it has to have some merit, but I was wondering if anyone here had any experience with it.

I am currently using VS.NET, but I see a lot of posts for people looking for a less expensive alternative.

No but it seems like a cool program. Only 3 megs though...Hmm. I think I'll try it out and see how it goes.

I tried using it with C#, but I found if kind of freaked out when I was creating a form visually. It started deleting lines of code for objects on the form. Also, after a while it wouldn't let me type a letter "C". I had to copy and paste them from somewhere else.

I only tried it a couple times and these problems didn't happen everytime so maybe it was an isolated event.

i've tried and couldn't even get my form designer to work correctly. Great potential but not there yet
