Anyone sucessfully using RRAS with exchange 2000?

I'm a little stumped trying to setup ras for windows 2000. I have it setup but I simply cannot open my outlook mailbox on exchange 2000.

Does exchange 2000 require the pc to be in the domain? I'm trying on a pc that is not in the domain with outlook 2000, it asks me for username, domain, and password, but cannot open the mailbox.

I can do a checkname.

Windows 2000 Server with exchange 2000. RAS is setup on another 2000 server.

both of the 2000 servers are domain controllers.

Should be fine.
My laptop is member of workgroup, I could do vpn and then open outlook.

Try this.
Go to Outlook/Tools/Services
Click Microsoft Exchange Server
Click Properties
Click Advanced tab
Change Logon Network Security to None
Click Apply
Click OK
Close Outlook
Open Outlook
