I know sql server runs on win98, but I have never tried it. Does it run ok? We're looking for a cheap way to do some development in sql.

Thanks They never have to knock if your door is always open.

Although SQL Server technically runs on Windows 98 you don't get the full features you would with the Standard edition on Windows NT. I once tried SQL Server on 98 and I had mega problems with it. Once I switched over to NT, it worked like a charm. In my opinion Windows 98 and SQL Server don't seem to get along very well.

Thanks. I only saw it run in an NT environment.
