to an Opt 81 with Sig Servers? how exactly does this work?

Thanks,
-pt.

Each analog port becomes an analog trunk on the PBX.

we had issues with these as well - we are using version 5 software which can be configured as below... This process will not work with version 4.x

Configure MP-112
From the config web page:

Protocol Management > Endpoint Phone Numbers
Enter number and give each number a different Hunt Group ID

Protocol Management > Hunt Group Settings
For each Hunt Group Channel Select Mode is By DestPhone Number and Registration mode is Per Endpoint

Protocol Management > Routing Tables > IP to Trunk Group Routing
Enter the Destination Phone prefix (DN) and the Hunt Group ID for each endpoint number.

Protocol Management > Protocol Definition > Proxy & Registration
Enable Proxy: Use Proxy
Proxy IP Address : x.x.x.x (LDR NRS)
First Redundant Proxy IP Address : x.x.x.x (LDR NRS PRI)
Second Redundant Proxy IP Address : y.y.y.y (LDR NRS ALT)

Maintenance > Save Config > Burn.

Configure NRS
Make sure you’re connecting to the Primary Server
Configuration > Standby DB view
Routing entries
Lookup endpoints
Show
Add
DN Type – CDP Steering Code
DN Prefix – <DN>
Route Cost – 1
Tools> Database Actions > Cutover and Commit > Submit

Configure CS1000T's
LD 87
NEW
CUST 0
FEAT CDP
TYPE DSC
DSC <DN>
FLEN 4
RLI 11

Basically the endpoints connect to NRS as dynamic SIP endpoints

The above is a basic config which should get them working...

Have fun..!!
