Anyone know of good free webmail program?

I'm hosting web sites and email accounts, but want to set up webmail for my customers. This is a *SMALL* side business, so I use freeware when possible (or else I will lose a lot of money). Most free webmail sites that I've found do not supply the program - they host the mail service themselves. I want to make the server software resident on my machine so customers won't be spammed. Is there anything out there that's free, or should I try to write my own script (which will take forever)? Newposter

One way that spammers gather email addresses is by using email collector programs - "spambots".
These robots scan the Web and grab all the email addresses out of every site they visit. If you
use links on your site, if you post your own or other people's email addresses (for example, on

I guess I didn't make myself clear. I just want a webmail program to run on my server, so I can administer it myself. Spam is not the primary issue. Most webmail programs out there either cost too much or are hosted off someone else's server. If I can't find what I want, I may have to spend months trying to script it myself. Newposter
