Anyone ever use SQL Reporting Services?

I understand that this may be the wrong forum, but has anyone ever used SQL Reporting services?

I was trying to download it, but it said I needed .NET framework. Is this a free download (I'm running XP Professional currently)

If you go to windows update on Microsofts site the .net framework is an optional update. Beware it's quite big!
