Anyone convert Clipper to C++ using CodeTranslator? 1

I have a few, very large Clipper 5.2d applications (one that uses Exospace 1.0f) that my client is wanting to convert, in order to move the database from dBase to SQL Server.

They are currently interested in using CodeTranslator (

to do this. Does anyone have any experience with this product?

Does anyone have any better ideas on a product to get Clipper apps talking to SQL Server rather than dBase?

Years ago I tried to convert a large clipper application to C with codetranslator.

It didn't work because of far too many problems.

You'd better have a look at the Xbase++ products.
Read the threads about Xbase.
