I can't boot up my Windows NT 4 machine because I get a message that ntoskrnl.exe is corrupted.

I have the file on a CD, and I have a CD boot disk with a DR-DOS operating system on it and I can boot from it, but I can't copy the file on CD to the c:\winnt\system32 directory.

I think it's because it's an NTFS system, but don't know for sure. My IT people can't fix the problem with out re-immaging the system.

Is there a way that I can copy this file?

Thanks.
