In our call center, we use multiple carriers on inbound calls for redundancy. Calls are routed equally from each of our toll-free numbers to one of these three carriers.
We have received numerous reports of lower-than-usual volume on certain inbound calls and have determined that "Carrier X" is the culprit. We filed a trouble ticket but they claim there is no padding being used and that everything seems OK.
Since "Carrier X" is not known for exceptional customer service or knowledgeable techs, I want to take them out of the picture completely. Thus, I am curious if there is any way for us to increase volume levels on this trunk group from within the Definity. We'd like to ramp it up a little at a time until the reports of low volume go away, or until our testing shows equal volume between "Carrier X" and carriers "Y" and "Z".
Thanks!
