Just heard of this InAAU ( Anyone in this forum has the membership for InAAU. Through some light on it. if it's more benificial I can put my case to boss to go for a membership.

Thanx.

We have been INAAU members for 9 years. The biggest benefit of membership are the conferences; international, national and regional. These provide excellent opportunities to attend seminars presented by users (and AVAYA and Business Partners) that deal with issues we all face. You haven't lived till you've heard David Love of Cross Telecom explain IP Telephony. In addition to the seminars, there is a exhibit hall that provides you with access to the AVAYA technical wizards and product managers. The next International Conference is April 18-22, 2004 in New Orleans.

Their web site includes past seminar materials and a forum with intentions similar to this one. They are just now trying to restart their own forum but it pales in comparison to this one.

I have been a member forever and heartily recommend it. Most of what I learned about DEFINITY and other products were through the user group in one form or another

If you make a presentation at a conference - registration can be free!

Some other benefits are

*Access to their detailed Salary Surveys by job description & region by People3, a Gartner Group company

*Quarterly Definitive News Subscription

*Access to report Future Needs Requests

*Access to the knowledge base

I would recommend it, as membership is required to attend conferences. I highly recommend going to the conferences, they are inexpensive, include your meals and a full week of training, usually around $1000 - - You won't find any other training for any other Vendor/Product with such quality at that price.
