Any feedback about beta client 4.9 sp2?

The company I'm with has backed ourselves into a corner by installing 4.9 sp1 to almost 1/2 the workstations here trying to solve a slow file access problem we were having with 4.8

The only problem is that we are having considerable problems with what seems timing between our workstations and our novell server with logons... gives a "tree cannot be found".. frequenly if we just wait a few minutes and try again everything is fine.

Looking for a light at the end of this tunnel we have been waiting for 4.9 sp2 and I just stumbled across the beta today... I didnt see any topics regarding this .. so I was looking for some feedback if you are using it if you have encountered any problems or anything really.

I also found 4.9 sp1a's patch they name "B"

(I'm currently testing)
But when you install it... it doesnt seem to change the letter or version inside of the client.

Anyone have any feedback about this one?

Are you sure it's a client problem? How are your servers running? Look at your packet receive buffers and your directory cache buffers, etc.

TRee of Server cannot be found" can be temporarily resolved by typing the IP Address of a server with replicas into the Server field under advanced. Once typed in, the client should keep the settings (unless you have configured it otherwise)
