We are having problems with SNA v4.0 servers running Anti-virus software. Services will not start and the server itself seems to lose network connectivity. Not isolated to one server, but to every server installed the anti-virus software. Any ideas what we can do apart from disabling AV software please?

I had the exact same problem. We had several servers where Norton Anti Virus would not run. Don't know why because it always worked before. I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling the NAV software and then also applied the MSBLAST fix. One of the servers would not allow us to uninstall and would not allow me to run add/remove programs from the control panel so I couldn't remove NAV Corporate Edition. This particular server was running SP4. It ended up in an endless reboot cycle and I was finally able to recover with an emergency repair disk. I really think this all had something to do with the MSBLASTER worm but when I ran the scan tool it didn't find it. I have had to rebuild two SNA servers since this worm came out. As of right now all are stable (I HOPE ?)
