Another T7406 Problem

these things are a pain in my &^%.....just installed the 6th handset on a system. however this set wont ring. all the other sets beep when you press a button and ring. this one wont. when you go into options for ring volume, the set does not respond to the volume key. the line indicator and the red attena flash, but no chirp. what am i missing?

You're missing nothing. Try changing the ports around to see if the problem stays with the 6th port or follows the set.
