Another crosstab question: Including empty fields

I have a crosstab which puts years across the top:

1995 - 1996 - 1997 - 1998
___________________________________


If there's no info for 1995, that year doesn't show up & I'd like it to to keep the report consistent. Is there any way to do this????

(suppress empty rows and columns is not checked)

This is a characteristic of a cross-tab -- No data, no column (or row, for that matter).

I always tell people to put a dummy record in the database, even if it is zero, to get the desired rows and columns.
