Lately, someone is sending me some annoying mail, i have blocked his/her address, but he/she just create a new mail to send me more nasty mails.

i think it's the same person because, on the header appear the same number( something like "from web12408.mail.yahoo.com ([216.136.173.135]) by mc1-f16.hotmail.com with Microsoft SMTPSVC(5.0.2195.6713); Fri, 5 Dec 2003 17:50:19 -0800" )....

my question is:
Is there any way i can know who is the one sending me mails, or Is there any way i can know something about this person?...

You can find the origin of the email

In your case

Note the IP address, here it is 216.....

go to whois

and type the IP address..and search will yield some useful information

I read a statistic somewhere recently that almost 1/2 of all spam is sent from zombie computers - that is personal computers that have been taken over by spammers without the owner's knowledge for the purpose of hiding the spammer's identity. If you do find the spammer, he/she may be only an unwitting pawn.

Post the full headers. If its an IP that Reverse look ups says that its on a DSL/Cable assigned ip in a ISP's space, then more than likely its a Trojaned machine.

In all cases, a report to that persons ISP is needed whether its an unwitting trojaned user or a real spammer.
