Announcement Question

Recently we lost the 1st and 2nd hold announcements on the ACD therefore based on the scripts, calls do not get a 1st or 2nd hold announcement and go right to music on hold if an agent in not available.

The scripts are fine but the announcements are no longer recorded.

I need to locate where the announcement ports are and how we go about rerecording the announcements via our desk phone.

What are you using to play those recordings? If you print the queue data, you will have FRT and SRT, these are the routes. Then do a LTM in LD 21 to get the TN's for these. That should help you figure out where they are located. (If you already know this, sorry for the unnecassary info.)

Depending on what the source is, your method of re-recording them will differ.

Check this first and post back what the RAN type and product is.
