I’m having trouble with the back button not working on our job line. We designated #9 as to go back one menu and listen to other positions available but it doesn’t work on some of the positions but others it will work.

Also how can you delete a recording? The options state to re-record the prompt press 5, to review the prompt press...

Thanks,
Bernie

could not understand exactly what you ment on the first request
can you rephrase it

to delete a recording press 76 while it plays

Sorry, let me rephrase;

1) We have a job line (prompt maintenance) where you can select which department you would like, then select the different positions within that department, to here what the qualifications are for the job. When you hit #9, it’s suppose to take you back to list all the departments but it does not work.

2) On this job line, we filled one of the positions and need to delete the message stating the details of the position. I tried 76 and states: that selection is not recognized.

What type of voice mail system - Meridiam Mail or Call Pilot

Assuming this is Meridian Mail, how did you designate #9 in a menu to do anything? In the menu setup, you only have choices 1-9, Initial No Response, Delayed Response and revert DN (press 0).

#9 in call pilot would require a second menu, point # to that menu and point 9 in that menu to back to the original answer point.. you can delete a msg from the app it is assigned to.. or you can record over it.. you can't delete it via prompt maint

We use Meridiam Mail.
I'm not the person that set this system up so I'm not sure how we designated #9 as the back button.

in app builder, # on menu one points to menu two, nine in menu two points to the entry point of menu one.. that repeats menu one.. if you just tell menu two, choice 9 to repeat, it will repeat menu two not menu one...
