We have 2 lines for each employee, where their main line is the DID and the 2nd line is an internal extension, but that 2nd line can be used to dial outside as well.

For example:
Main Line (real DID) is 5444
2nd line (not a real DID) is 4444

If the employee dials out from their 2nd line, the caller ID will show 4444 and when that person tries to call them back, thinking their line is 4444, they will not get the person they intend to talk to.

How can I mask the ANI, so to speak, to always show the true DID on the other person's line?

Hope this is clear.
Thanks.

key 2 scr 4444 d.
try this format. the d at the end may outpulse the key 0 for you.

The key should be programed with the character "D" following the number in the switch. (Key 01 scr 4444 D). When the chararcter "D" is entered, the system searches the DN key 0 and up, to find a key with CLID table entry. The CLID associated with the found DN will then be used.
