Hi Guys,

Is there anyone experience a continues bipping sound when dial out external number.

This is for analogue trunkline. There is a 7 channels and only 1 channel works. When this 1 channel is busy, no one can dial out anymore with continues bipping sound. Settings of the 7 lines are the same.

There is so little to go on AND what you are saying is very confusing.

"bipping" sound? Do you mean you get wave off? I don't think "bipping" is a technical term I aware of...

You say you have analog lines but you say you have 7 channels? What?

You give no more information. Is this a new system or was it already in place and this started happening? Are your lines showing in service in system status? What have you done and ruled out with the lines? What version are you running on the system? The more information you can provide the more likely you can get someone to help you.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

So in analogue trunk, we have 7 lines. Only 1 of them can call external numbers. Other lines, when we tried to call external numbers, we can hear a continues beep sound.

All lines are in service from system status. I checked and ensures line settings are all the same of the one that is working.

Version: Avaya IP Office 500 V2 V11.0

Do you have 7 physical analog trunks?

Do the other trunks receive incoming calls?

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Reboot the Ipo

Then see what happens

Voicemail ports can some times lock the analogue lines up if disconnect timer is not set correctly.

My interpretation - "bipping" is "Waiting for Line"
OP has 7 POTS lines connected, SSA shows In Service and Idle
Telephone Company has only battery on 6 of them

OP - get a butt set and test each POTS line by unplugging from the IP Office and using a Banjo adapter to connect the butt set to the end of the line cord. Check for battery AND dial tone. Report those that don't have dial tone to the phone company for repair

I second what Tommy said. As soon as I saw bipping and analogue, I thought Waiting for Line, but then I was like, "well that's important information, why wouldn't he mention that" lol. Yeah, I'd test those physical lines one by one and if you don't have a Buttset (you should) for some reason, find a standard house phone instead.

This is fixed. It was service provider issue which they don't accept until I requested them to check and test physically.

Pink for posting resolution. It is very common for a provider to blindly blame the PBX or just blindly deny it is their fault I think we have all been there.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.
