Is it possible to dial into a ISDN Cisco 801 router using an analogue line ?

Can dial in over the ISDN (if remote end using ISDN), but I want to be able to have remote access for both analogue and digital modems using same ISDN line.

If not what hardware would be a good solution? Have heard about 'inteligent' modems which can detect both analogue and digital signals.

Thoughts appreciated.

You need to have a router with a built in modem for this. Then its possible to configure the router to switch calls that are originated on an analogue circuit, received over the ISDN to an internal modem.

I've seen it done with a 3600 with internal modems (MICA) so it could be done on 2600. I'm not so sure about lower end routers though.

There is a technology guide at this url, its pretty large!
