Hi,

I have a couple of analog extensions which suddenly stop to work. I changed the rack cables and still don't work.
Is there a way to make a reset only to the analog board?
Thanks.

What IPO, version, expansion?

It is a IPO500 version 4.1.15.
It has a digital extension external module.
Thanks

You need to reset the whole thing. Try plugging the handset straight into the card first, it could still be cabling.

amriddle01, I tryed it before, but still not dialtone.
So I figure out there is not a way to reset only a board.
Thanks.

So are the analog ports on an expansion module?
If so is it a 500 or a 400 series?

This is a Ip500 Analog Phone Base Card which is inserted into a IPO slot, not in an external module.
Thanks

Does it have a daughter card on them?
Did you try to swap slots?
They are not hot pluggable/swappable!

Yes, it has a daughter card inserted.
I not tryed to swap the slots because probably with a full reset system it will be recovered. This is not the first time it happens.
I was looking for some process which it will be not necessary to reset the system.
Thanks.

You could try to put them on IVR port an change it back.
But i think your card is broken and that you have to sent back to Avaya.

I had 2 analog ports (card in ip500)quit working after an upgrade. Reset the system and still no go. Luckly they were spare ports and would not be used for a while. They wre working for sure before the upgrade. Do not know what happened.

base1234,
You do have some good ideals to try.
