MICS 4.0, 6 Port fiber exp. to a 12X0 with analog DID card.
12X0 plugged in to top port of fiber exp. My customer assures me that he has programmed the switch properly. When calls come in they are ringing at reception instead of the targeted telephone. My customer also mentioned that in speaking with another tech he found out that older versions of analog DID's have had this problem. Anyone ever experience this scenario or have any thoughts on what the problem might be.
Thanks,
John

First thing I would ask the Attendant what line shows up when see answers the call. Is it the Target line or is it a physical line from the card. One way you can test the card is to put an analog phone on the trunk port(disconnect the Telco line). Go off hook with the phone, then dial the Rec Digits that you have programmed for that Target Line.

Thanks very much for the response. I'll let my customer know what you've said and see if we can't fix this.
Thanks again,
John
