Hi, we're trying to implement these new procedures at the office. Is there such a thing as an internal (LAN) email type service?
An email server? Of course there is...A few recommendations I got were ftgate office and MS Exchange. I feel MS exchange is too bulky.

Heres my set up

Server 2000 Worksations

What I'd like is for lets say the reception wants to send an email to billing, I dont want them to use my ISP's servers. I'd like them to stay internal, if possible using the 2000 server box as the server.

What do I need to create on the 2000 Server box so the email gets sent there, then to the recepient?

Thanks
