Say I've got a form with an option group with three choices that are values 1,2 and 3. Say I choose value 2, is there any way to keep that value 2 floating around out there in the air somewhere so that it can be used by other forms or modules even if the original form is closed after choosing the value? In advance...I really appreciate your help on this one.

Thanks,
Dan

You may either use a Public variable declared in a standard code module or store the the value in a table.

Hope This Helps, PH.

You can also use [blue]Custom Db Properties![/blue]. These properties are [blue]non-volatile[/blue] and stay with the Db! ... No Table Required!

Had to give the Aceman1 a star for that because of the non-volatility of db properties. And for reminding me of something I'd forgotten about....

Thank you all. Closer to my understanding, I went with the use of storing the value in a table, which I have done before. Since the value used needs to be dynamic this works very well for me and the overhead is very minimal. Thanks again and a Good Day wished to you all.

Hehe...when I have time I am going to look deeper into the db properties thing so I can understand it better and make use of it in the future. Thank you so much for the info.
