I have 250 new Window 7 laptops. These replaced Win XP laptops. When a user switched from their old XP laptop to their new Win7 laptops their "My Documents" and "Desktop" files were all available since the redirection to our server was successful. However, "alway available offline" did not automatically get enabled. My belief was , just like XP, anything redirected automatically becomes available offline. For now we are manually "checking off" ALWAYS AVAILABLE OFFLINE. Why aren't these folders automatically available offline?!?!!!

Why aren't these folders automatically available offline?

I would wonder why they WOULD automatically be available offline. There's probably some setting in the MS Server environment that will allow you to change the setting from a centralized server, and thereby update all connected machines, but I wouldn't expect that sort of option to be enabled by default.

But that's really just a guess on my part.
