Any comments would be welcome.

I have been using the PDW with access runtime minimum to install my applications remotely (user installed). I've modified the visual basic setup program to fix some of the flaws, but it is still is prone to install errors.

I've read discussions where some of you have discussed alternate installers. Any personal experiences? I am considering MDT-2000, but can't seem to find any people that have used it. There is no trial, and it costs $300. I would gladly pay $300 to end my installation nightmares, but I want to be sure it works beforehand.

Thanks,
K.Hood

I’ve not used MDT, but whatever you get, what you are really dealing with is a script generating program. The best I have seen/used is SAGE.

There is a very good freebee I have used. You are going to have to spend some time building the .ini file, but if your understanding of the installation process is better than average you should take a close look at this.
