I have setup 6 analog ports, which interface with a dictation system. At the moment, if busy, each port hunts to the next port and so on....Once all ports are busy I have the first port forward no answer (FDN) to an external number ie..(91234567). All works fine up to this point. Now if another call comes in and all ports are busy including the external number, I would like it to dial a diffrent external number ie..(92346478), and so on... Is there a way to accomplish this? I have a U.S. switch. Thanks in advance..

What if you made the fdn the next in chain and hunt to the external number. It seems to me that it would first look in the chain and when that was not available it would go to the hunt number.

If all the ports are busy, how will it forward on ring no answer? Don't you get a busy tone? I think you would set it up as a series hunt and have the last port hunt to or forward busy to an external number. If I remember the logic of feature interaction on analogue stations, hunt and forward busy are mutually exclusive and you don't get two choices of FDNs only one! Can you have the external hunt to the other external number or forward busy to it via the telco? That might solve your problem?
