I want to know if their is a group policy that will allow me to disable alt ctrl delete on a group of work stations. I know its a security risk but these machines are used by a select group and we dont want them to have to hit alt ctrl del every time they log in.

Presume you know about Users and Passwords control panel item, advanced tab, tick box 'Require users to press Ctrl+Alt+Delete before logging on' on each workstation?

I know I can do that locally but I dont want to do it that way. I want a group policy that way I can set it from the server, I dont want to go to 15 machines and do it. So I need to set it up so 15 machines dont have to hit alt ctrl del. I need a group policy to do it and I need to know if there is one and if so where is it. Thanks

yes, there's a policy. Under Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Security Options\Disable CTL+ALT+DEL requirement....

so if I wanted to make that policy for a group how would I do so choose new group policy and where do I find that policy

Please help :(

Easy now...

If you just want a few users to be affected by this, create an OU and place the user's Computers in that OU. Then go into the Properties of that OU and choose the Group Policy tab. Click New, name the policy whatever you want, then Edit it as I posted before.

thanks bud got it going
