I'm having trouble with W32TIME as well. I'm on the PDC that holds the FSMO role, I've set the authoritative time server with NET TIME /SETSNTP:192.5.41.209, and all I get are Event ID 11, "The NTP Server didn't respond." I've also tried 192.5.41.41. Note the double space after Server - the error message description on MS Knowledge base indicates a %1 there which I presume should show the ip address in question, but in the event log it's blank. Yet I've combed through the registry and every single key looks correct according to the MS documentation I'm looking at.

I can ping both ip's just fine, and at one point I did succeed in setting the time, but after that event 11 just starting coming up again. Should I use a different time server ip? Is something else blocking the update?

TIA!
Gordon
