Hi, I am Running Redhat 9. I upgraded my kernel to 2.6.0(since i had it lying around and wanted to test the 2.6 kernel =P). Everything went perfect except the fact that sound doesnt work.
I am using a Intel D865GBF motherboard so I have a onboard sound card(AC97 or something). The system detected the soundcard but it doesnt play any sound. I have OSS emulation enabled as well while compiling.
I didnt compile ALSA. It came built into the 2.6 Kernel
