Aloha EDC 6.7.24 Spooling Files

System went into spooling mode

I see that the *.spl files are on the Master terminal at \aloha\edc

Server will brings up "Can not access terminal. Check for permissions and your network connection." on the Debout.edc

Tried moving and renaming *.spl to *.reg and placing it in the server EDC folder but nothing happen

Any ideas on what being might be causing *.reg not to start proccessing on the server?

Thanks

Try and make sure EDCSVR is logging on as the user that your master terminal is logging into Windows as. That is usually the easiest way to figure out spooling issues. The SPL files will use the req extension, not reg. I would put the spooled files back on the master terminal and make sure that EDCSVR is set to login as the same user as your master terminal, otherwise you're not really fixing the core issue. Just Stop/Start POS processing in EDC after correcting the user issue. Also make sure your firewall on the server is not on and if it is, make sure the proper programs and ports are open.
