I have a page from which users may download a Crystal Report in PDF format. How can I you allow users to download this file from my page? What I have in mind is this:

(1) Save the report in a temporary folder on the server
(2) Have the user download the file to his machine
(3) Delete the file from the temporary folder

Is this the right way to go? If yes, I think I can figure out how to do steps 1 and 3 but I would need help with step 2. If this is not the way to go, please advice! Thanks.

Your workflow seems fine, and here's a FAQ that shows how to stream a file down to a client with a button:

Works quite nicely.
