Allow empty field in report 1

New to BO...

I have two joined tables A & B where a matching entry in B may not exist. I want my report to show all of table A data along side of whatever data is in table B.

When I create a report and add the B fields the A results become restricted to only those with a matching B.

How do I return all of A along with whatever is in B?

You need outer joins to be defined in your universe.
