Hi Guys,

The usb ports of PCs on my network are being disabled. It has happen twice in the last two weeks. I am basically clueless as to why this is happening. I have gone through my group policies with a fine teeth comb. I have also disabled my WSUS server. Since disabling the WSUS server the PCs effected has been reduced to 2-3, every couple days.

Environment: Windows 2000 Servers and XP & win2k clients.

I'm still trying to monitor and Troubleshoot this issue. Any words of advise would be appreciated.

If you find out how to do this on purpose please let me know, disabling USB via GPO would be advantageous to me!
