All of my Icons have disappeared from my favorites bar

I have an HP G470US laptop with Windows 7 installed. I have many favorites, i think they are called, at the top with links to various websites. All of the icons have disappeared and just the text appears. How can I restore the icons?

You posted this in Windows ME forum, if you have windows 7, more people maybe able to help you. But since these are websites, this happens sometimes. There are add-ons for Firefox to help with this issue, I don't use IE so not sure what you can do other than click on the icon, let the page load, and let it update the icon if it will.

thank you. Yes, I wasn't sure which forum to post in for Windows. After I wrote I realized that the icons just refreshed themselves as soon as i linked to them. You are correct. What forum would you suggest would be the best choice? Thanks again.

I would think the forum1726 would be the most appropriate for issues concerning Windows 7.
