Alias not found error

After a user has added records to the 'employee' table from one form, when he opens another form that uses a list box deriving its data from the employee table, he clicks to select a record from the table to add data. This works the first time he clicks, but on selecting another employee and clicking again, the program crashes with an 'alias " not found' (double quote character) and upon cancelling the program a 'table is not open' error occurs and the program exits to Windows. Any ideas?

You should check out if any alias is selected (or in the selected area) when you receive this message.

I suggest you check it out by using the debugger and step through your code.
