How does one remove the Alexa virus which exploits the IE6 issue. on WIN2K OS. ? Help!!!!!!!!!!

If you have had the Alexa Toolbar installed, you should read and follow faq760-4866

Alexa is not a virus, but it is spyware. It does not use any exploits, It is installed however in every version of IE (at least since 4) and will be reinstalled on every service pack update. M$ bundle it as part of IE.

Use spybot or Adaware to remove it.

Can someone tell me what this is? I see it alot in Spybot and Adaware.
