I've been on vacation and come back today and find that approx 10 or my 15 servers didn't sent backup alert logs to my printer. Alert Activity logs shows this :
12/15/04 - 03:06:53 Could not Print Trouble Ticket(s).
12/15/04 - 03:06:53 Failed to connect to \\IT\is2. (1909)
12/15/04 - 03:06:52 Sending Trouble Ticket to \\IT\is2
12/14/04 - 03:03:31 Failed to Connect to \\IT\is2. (1909)
12/14/04 - 03:03:31 Could not Print Trouble Ticket(s).
12/04/03 - 03:03:31 Sending Trouble Ticket to \\IT\is2.
I'm currently troubleshooting this by 1st going to each server and stop/start alert manager and sending test msg. That works fine. Also checking service account and printer setup within alert manager. Backup jobs are running fine.
Using Alert Manager v4.0 and Arcserve 2000 on Windows 2K SP4. This trouble began on December 4th. Has been working fine for almost 2 years now.
I'm really interested to find out what error 1909 is and means ??
Thanks,
Rich
