I'm considering switching over to ADSL. The local phone company offers the Alcatel 1000 as the interface. How does the 100 compare to other solutions? Are they compatible w/ PPTP?<br>

The alcatel modem supports PPPOE ( ethernet ) . The failure rate is about 20 % . The alcatel is being replaced by the Speed Touch PPPOE .
