Alarm

I received a TDM 2A alarm this morning. We lost our 6400 phones and were unable to get dial tone. When I went to the switch there I looked at the Tone module and it was not in alarm. HELP.

Now when I type in status a particular extension I get service status - disconnecte, Download status - Pending

Did you look at your alarm log? Did you llok at the error codes? Type the command "Display Alarms" then hit enter after the screen is painted hit enter again. The most relivent alarms will show first. Note the "object" causing the problem. Next look at the error log "Display Errors" enter and enter again. Note the error codes. The next thing I would do would be to find the object in trouble in the maintenance manual and follow the testing procedures. Hopefully you will be able to resolve the problem.
