Could you guys tell me the min requirements to install AIX. Can I install AIX on a SUN BOX? From where can I get an evaluation copy of AIX.

As far as I know there is not a version of AiX that will run on Sun hardware -- and I don't think you can get an evaluation version of it either. Mike

u cannot install aix on sun boxes...its possible only on ibm rs/6000 boxes coz its been made for risc machines...but ibm's new AIX 5L is a intell version and it can be installed on intel cisc platforms ...AIX 5L is still not out in the market and i am not sure whether u can get the evaluation copy of it.....u can ask ibm directly...
if u manage to get it pls inform me also...
