Aironet 340 Access -manage it with rollover cable?

hello all-


Well, I've got a problematic Aironet 240 Access Point, can't ping it and can't telnet or hyperterminal to it. i was told to use a rollover cable but I don't know what I'm doing with it?? What gender connectors do I need and where do they plug into. Can I use that cable to telnet in? or hyperterm or maybe just thru a webbrowser using the IP address. anyone have any answers? please feel free!
