Aironet 1200 VLAN Setup

I'm currently trying to set up a Cisco Aironet 1200 with both guest and internal access. I am looking to isolate guest traffic to internet only. From what I can tell, a VLAN setup is the way to go. I was able to pass VLAN traffic from the Aironet, but it ended up causing quite a bit of packet loss throughout the rest of the LAN. Is it possible to setup multiple VLANs on the Aironet without having VLANs on the connecting switches?

So, you're trying to setup Public Wifi and have it run concurrently with your own local Wireless (for your internal users) right?

no, you must have the same vlans on the switches as you have on the aironet ap. You should also have the same management vlan on the ap as on the switch.

You must setup all the other switches with trunk links AND have the vlans known (described)on ALL the switches the frames go through (for ex with VTP client on all the switches except one which is server)
