Hi everyone, i am wondering if one of you could be so nice as to help me out. I have a project due on monday and for some reason when i put transitions in it doesn't actually do them. When i render them and view its just 2 seconds of black out of no where!! How can i get my transitions to work. Thanks!

First, read the included help files and follow the steps given. Second, if you ask for help here, please be nice and describe in as much detail as you can the circumstances of the problem. What's your input/output format/resolution/codec? What version of Premiere? What operating system? etc etc ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
...but I'm just a C man trying to see the light

most likely you are not overlapping the clips correctly. before you export from premiere render the time line to see if there are any mistakes.

icrf is correct, just give as much info as you can think of, even if it sounds like it really wouldn't help.

Check the small arrow inside of the transition if it is pointing in the right direction
Let´s suppose you have one clip in Video 1a and the second clip in video 1b. The transition is located in between . But there is an small arrow pointing how the transition goes. From video 1a to 1b...
