Agents installs

Alring everyone sorry but this is really bothering me.

I have instlalled the remote agents for 2000 on 2000 mahines withe the open file option for veritas 8.5 but the thing is when I go to do backups none of those agents show up and the log files always say the agent is not installed. Is there something else I have to do on the client machines ?

When you install the agents, Does it let u pick the Specific server if remote etc???

if so they should be installed..

You dont have to do anything on the remote servers, you can check on the remote servers if the remote agents running in services?
