The 4620 shows the Station ID on the LCD display once it is set up with one.

As we have set up or Agents with a Station ID outside the DID- range but with an Agent ID that is also their direct extension number (to make them log in for every call) it would be good to show the Agent ID instead of /in addition to the Station ID.

We have asked AVAYA and they said it can’t be done, however, I think everything is possible if there is enough demand.

Has anybody have asked the same question to AVAYA?

Regards,

Frank

You can alias the buttons on the phone. I am running firmware 2.0, but it worked on 1.8 also.

1. Go into options, arrow to the right once.
2. Select "Feature Button Labeling"
3. Select “Relabel Feature buttons”
4. Select the button you would like to relabel, and label it as you wish. These will erase if you reset the phone, so you should setup the ftp backup/restore to ensure it is saved, so the labels will come back after a reset.

thanks, but I'm not talking about the "feature button labels", I'm talking about the station ID that shwos up in the top left corner of the display, this can't be re-labelled, also the "call-appr" buttons, they can't be changed either.

What I like to have is that the call-appr buttons as well as the stationID (top left) changes to the AgentID once logged in.

Frank
