Good afternoon.

After updating AIX to 4.3.3 I get BROKEN fileset.
------------------------------------------------
lppchk: The following filesets need to be installed or corrected to bring
the system to a consistent state:

bos.up 4.3.3.1 (not installed; requisite fileset)
dce.client.core.rte 2.1.0.29 (BROKEN)
-------------------------------------------------
Does anyone knows how do I fix this problem and put version into 4.3.3?

Actual version is still(oslevel): 4.3.2.0

Thanks in advance.
Hugo

Have you tried to download the bos.up 4.3.3.1 fileset and installing it? It's available from the ibm website. Do a search on "fix central" and it's usually the first returned hit.

This would probably do the trick. From what you posted above, the dce.client.core.rte 2.1.0.29 needs bos.up 4.3.3.1 before the upgrade can be complete.

Good Afternoon.

Right now I have no problems when doing lppchk, but my instfix output is:

# instfix -it p

All filesets for 4.3.0.0_AIX_ML were found.
All filesets for 4.3.1.0_AIX_ML were found.
All filesets for 4.3.2.0_AIX_ML were found.
Not all filesets for 4.3.3.0_AIX_ML were found.

and oslevel is still 4.3.2.0.

How can I do put oslevel in 4.3.3.0??

Thanks,
Hugo

What ML level did you install? 1? Your output above looks like ML 1.

I don't know what you mean by "put oslevel in 4.3.3.0". Sorry. I'm unfamiliar with this term.

What do you get with

oslevel -rl 4330-01

maybe we're going down different tracks
